HTC U12+ | Best Looking Flagship Phone Around


HTC has had a glorious past but what was once the tech world giant is now failing hard to sell its smartphones. However, declining sales hasn’t stopped HTC from not launching new phones. The new HTC U12+ comes in a sleek body with a plethora of amazing features.

HTC U12+ carries the same design language which has made HTC the leader in phone design. It is a glass and metal sandwich with Liquid Surface design. The device has rounded edges and an arched back for ergonomic comfort. HTC U12+ supports the latest screen ratio of 18:9. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone beneath the camera module.

HTC U12+ comes with SD 845 and 6GB RAM. These are top of the line specs for any 2018 flagship. HTC has left no stone unturned to make the flagship a beast. Phone uses the latest Super LCD6 which comes with QHD+ resolution with a 537ppi. The LCD now supports HDR 10 and DCI-P3. The phone has a screen size of 6 inches.

There are pressure sensitive sides on the frame which allow for Edge Sense 2 to function fully. The new squeeze gestures are now smarter and the Edge Sense is more customizable. There is dual camera on the back with a DXO Mark score of 103 which makes it the second best rated phone camera in the world. The camera module consists of a 12MP main camera and a 16MP telephoto lens. The main camera aperture is f/1.8 with OIS. There is phase detection and laser autofocus on board.

The phone is capable of recording 4K in 60fps and can record 1080p at 240fps. The selfie camera also has dual camera setup which have a resolution of 8MP each. The phone also has MicroSD card slot too apart from the inbuilt 64GB and 128GB storage options.

There is no wireless charging on board despite the glass back. The battery measures at 3,500mAh. HTC U12+ supports high-res audio over its USB Type-C connection. There are stereo speakers as well which give out powerful sound. The phone starts at $799.
