Mate 10 | Android Powerhouse Challenging iPhone X

Mate 10 is sizing up to be one of the biggest Android launches of 2017. This is probably because it will be taking on the likes of iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8. Mate series has developed a good repute over time in the smartphone market. Its slick and sexy design language has won more than a few hearts.

Mate 10 however, has to bear all the pressure being the most liked phone produced by Huawei. Huawei has just beaten Apple and took the second position as the second largest smartphone manufacturer and now they are looking to take the AI crown from Apple. Mate 10 has been advertised as the most advanced AI phone in the world and on top of that they are poking the lion (Apple) by making fun of its Face ID in their tweet. They might not be too wrong as the new leaks by Evan Blass suggest.

Mate 10 will feature dual-camera by Leica (the German camera manufacturer) and along with that the camera will have the world’s highest aperture taking on the LG V30. Mate 10 will have a near bezel-less display, which means that what Mate series already set out to do is now going to come with a new industry leading benchmark. The display will be IPS LCD but we were really hoping that Huawei will give us an AMOLED display. Rumors are the price is going to be around 900 Euros, and for that price we really do expect Huawei to give us new screen tech rather than the age old IPS LCD display. Not that it is any bad, but industry seems to be adopting the OLED display.

Rest of the specs include the screen being QHD (1440×2880), Kirin 970 processor, 5.99-inch IPS LCD, 6GB RAM and internal storage coming at 64GB or 128GB. There will be two cameras at the back one will be of 12MP resolution and the other will be of 20MP.

It is really turning out to be one of the best Androids of 2017. We are really excited about the AI features of the phone. It is only a matter of time before Huawei reveals it all.
